Frida Kahlo spoke of her interpretations of the meanings of colors in her diary, stating magenta as the "blood of prickly pear, the brightest and oldest."

For our Frida collection, WYETH has collaborated with both the Frida Kahlo Foundation and Las Fotos Project. Based in Los Angeles, California, Las Fotos Project is a community based non-profit organization that inspires teenage girls through photography, mentorship, and self-expression. Offering year-round programming, they provide girls with access to professional cameras, quality instruction and workshops that encourage them to explore their identity, build leadership and advocacy skills, and strengthen their social and emotional well-being. 

Proceeds from the sale of pieces from our Frida collection are donated directly to Las Fotos Project and the Frida Kahlo Foundation.
