The Martina is our canvas tote featuring a checkered pattern and embroidered yellow and orange flowers. The shoulder straps are decorated with a jacquard embroidery, and the zipper is decorated with a bright, multicolored beaded tassel charm. The frame-like design of the embroidered flowers is reminiscent of the flowers featured in Frida Kahlo's painting, The Frame. This famous piece was the first painting made by a Mexican artist to be purchased and featured in the permanent collection at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

For our Frida collection, WYETH has collaborated with both the Frida Kahlo Foundation and Las Fotos Project. Based in Los Angeles, California, Las Fotos Project is a community based non-profit organization that inspires teenage girls through photography, mentorship, and self-expression. Offering year-round programming, they provides girls with access to professional cameras, quality instruction and workshops that encourage them to explore their identity, build leadership and advocacy skills, and strengthen their social and emotional well-being. 

Proceeds from the sale of pieces from our Frida collection are donated directly to Las Fotos Project and the Frida Kahlo Foundation.
